If you're running Windows Vista and have an iPod you may have encountered this problem. After you've ejected your iPod and attempt to reconnect it you may receive the following error message: "Do you want to scan and fix [ipod name]?". This is some silly glitch that the iPod and Windows Vista have with each other. Strange that rivals don't mix well, huh?

Anyway, the giants have teamed together to get the iPod working well under Windows Vista, and have released an update that is 'supposed' to fix the problem.

Now that I'm attending college again I realize the value there is in reading fast and reading comprehensively. So much of the college student's time is invested in the area of reading. If we could learn to read faster and better understand what we read then we would reacquire much of our invested time; allowing us to spend it on other endeavors (like time with our spouses).

All I had to do was run a google search on "speed reading" to find some valuable information that I wanted to share with the rest of the world. Scott Young wrote a blog post sharing some insight into the area of increasing one's reading speed. The article was also tagged through Lifehacker.

As some of you may know my wife and I just finished a move to Chicago, IL. I will be attending Moody Bible Institute here in the fall. We are both so excited, I'm convinced that God is going to do amazing things with us here.

I wanted to extend the blessing of all the provisions God has secured for us in this migration.

1. Although I drive a '92 Saab, and Monique's parents came with us in a used pickup, we had no vehicle problems along the way; Praise God!

2. All of our furniture and other assets are safe and have suffered zero injury.

3. We had a little trouble the day we moved out in getting our entire security deposit returned to us, but that has worked out fine as well. Our landlord was originally only going to return half of our initial deposit.
