If you're a Christian then you know what the gospel is. You know how to be saved and that Jesus is the only way. When you share this message to people don't water it down or modify it so as to not offend. To do so would nullify its power! Speak boldly like Peter.

I like how the passage says that Peter "lifted up his voice". This is the first time Peter gives a public address. When the opportunity comes and we need to respond to testify to the works of God, will we be brave enough to life up our voice?

Jesus promised He would send the Helper - this was the Holy Spirit. All believers from this time on, at conversion, are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. He resides with us and gives us power to overcome sin. Take advantage.

You would think that Peter with all his shortcomings during the earthly ministry of Jesus would fall apart as a leader. Surprisingly he doesn't and all the disciples unite together and place their trust in God. We need to have the same dependence upon him in our ministries as well.
